About this role:

The Sr. Accountant, Technical Accounting will supporttechnicalaccounting researchanddocumentation,reviewcontracts to determine accounting treatment, andparticipate inSEC reporting and accountingcloseactivities. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams to assess accounting implicationsand support compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements. The role reports to the Director,Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Research, analyze,and documentaccounting conclusions forcomplextransactions.

  • Prepare andmaintaintechnical accounting position papers and memorandums.

  • Reviewcustomer, vendor, and other businesscontractsto determineappropriate accountingtreatmentin accordance withUS GAAP.

  • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closeprocess(journal entries,accountreconciliations,financialreporting, fluxanalysisetc.)

  • Partner withLegal, FP&A,Partner Alliance,Revenue and Sales Operationsand othercross functional teams.

  • Assistwith preparation of SEC filings,including 10-Qs, 10-Ks, and Proxy.

  • Identifyopportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting procedureswhilemaintainingSOXcompliance.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 5-7years total experiencein a public company accounting role,audit roleatBig 4publicaccountingfirm, oracombination, including 2+years in a technical accounting role.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, ora relatedfield.

  • CPAlicensepreferred.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skillsandMicrosoft Copilot.

  • Proficiencyusing NetSuite inamulti-currency,multi-subsidiaryenvironmenta plus.

  • Experiencewith WorkivaSEC reportingtoola plus.

  • Ability to workeffectivelyunder pressurein a fast-paced environmentand ability to worklongerhours atquarterend.

JOB REQ COMPENSATION RANGE

$83,000 - $138,000

The base salary range for this role is shown above. At Sprinklr, base pay depends on multiple individualized factors, including experience, qualifications, job-related knowledge and skills, and geographic location. Base pay is only one part of our competitive Total Rewards package: the successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Sprinklr's discretionary bonus plan, commission plan, and/or equity plan, depending on role.
