Job description

About Us
Health is the most important thing in life, and the American healthcare system is completely broken - poor outcomes, high cost, bad patient experience. We're building a new system from the ground up.

Our mission is to improve people's health by making it easy to live a healthy lifestyle.

Nourish is the country's largest dietitian-led metabolic health clinic. We're an AI-native digital health system matching patients with 10,000+ Registered Dietitians, physicians, medications, lab testing, and AI agents to deliver insurance-covered care across all 50 states. Founded four years ago, we've completed millions of appointments, tripled year-over-year, and partnered with health plans covering 200M+ Americans across 250+ health systems.

In 2026 we raised a $100M Series C, bringing total funding to $215M. The round was led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners, Maverick Ventures, Y Combinator, BoxGroup, Atomico, Daybreak, and Operator Partners.

Learn more about our Series C here: Nourish Blog, Bloomberg, Fierce Healthcare, Digital Native, The Pulse Podcast.

This is not a job for everyone. We hold an extremely high bar because we believe talent density is our biggest competitive advantage. We're looking for people who actively choose hard, ambiguous problems, who run toward unglamorous work, give and receive candid feedback, and bring relentless resilience without the ego. Our work is important, but we are not self-important. We do this because we're solving one of the hardest problems in the world, and the problem matters. If that's you, we disproportionately reward it.

About the Role

Reporting directly to our Credentialing Manager, the Credentialing / Enrollment Senior Associate will support all credentialing or payer enrollments operations at Nourish, including assisting with day-to-day tasks, maintaining and optimizing workflows, developing net-new processes as we expand into new payers and functions, and helping to ensure the credentialing process runs smoothly. This is an entry point into our cred/enrollment org - We're hiring for a number of roles and will make sure we match you with the best fit opportunity.

This role is critical for many of Nourish's core operations; you'll get the chance to work cross-functionally with our RCM, Payer Ops, Clinical Ops, and Customer Experience teams. The work you do will positively impact all stakeholders at Nourish—our patients (ensuring they get the life-changing care they need), our dietitians (providing a seamless credentialing experience), our payers, and more.

This role is full-time and open fully remote or NYC-based candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • [If Credentialing Senior Associate] Assist in building the credentialing program for the Nourish network of Medical Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Therapists and RDs.
  • [If Enrollment Senior Associate] Own the end-to-end cycle of payer enrollment applications for new and existing providers under our contracts, ensuring all requirements are met for successful enrollment.
  • Support efforts to streamline existing credentialing processes by providing suggestions for automation or new tools, optimizing individual steps, and ensuring smooth workflows.
  • Develop SOPs (detailed guides) for payer enrollments processes or provider credentialing, and own the implementation across the team.
  • Assist in managing/uptraining our contract credentialing team.
  • Help track credentialing / payer enrollments metrics and report on progress, roadblocks, and other updates; provide suggestions on how to make our reporting more robust & actionable.
  • Provide direct support to our dietitians and payers, and own/manage all RD credentialing communications.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to share updates, reprioritize work, and gather input as needed.
We'd love to hear from you if:

You have 3+ years of experience in a payer enrollment and/or credentialing role.

  • You are familiar with payer enrollment and credentialing processes and payer and accreditation requirements, across provider types, including Registered Dietitians, Medical Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, and therapists .
  • You are an effective communicator and enjoy collaborating with people across different roles and teams.
  • You are meticulously organized and detail-oriented.
  • You are tech-savvy and open to learning and using new technologies.
  • You are flexible and adaptable when facing new challenges and circumstances.
