Job description

Responsibilities

This role is 100% remote but will require candidates to be onsite 1-2x a year at our Rosemont, IL Headquarters. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and strategize the investigation, evaluation, and resolution of claims to ensure timely, accurate outcomes
  • Partner with the TPA and key stakeholders (HR, Risk Management, Legal, Operations, Safety, Corporate Nurses, Medical Providers, Excess Carriers) to ensure effective claim management, regulatory compliance, and timely care
  • Provide financial oversight, including reserve management, settlement evaluation and authority, escalation to excess carriers, and development of settlement strategies (e.g., annuities, MSAs)
  • Lead TPA oversight through claim reviews, audits, and claims examiner performance management to ensure adherence to service expectations, best practices, and customer experience
  • Identify and resolve complex claim issues through cross-functional collaboration
  • Evaluate and enhance return-to-work programs across locations
  • Occasional travel as needed
  • Other projects or duties as assigned
Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's Degree with 6 plus years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 9 plus years of specific experience
