Valentine Financial Group

Job description

Build a Career You Can Own

Valentine Financial Group is a growing independent insurance agency based in Fredericksburg, Virginia, serving individuals and families through personalized financial protection solutions.

We help families protect what they’ve worked hard to build through life insurance, mortgage protection, living benefits, retirement solutions, and other financial strategies.

But we’re also building something bigger: people.

Our agency is designed for individuals who want the opportunity to grow professionally, develop as leaders, increase their income, and ultimately build a business of their own.

This is a commission-based insurance sales opportunity with flexible full-time and part-time options. No previous insurance experience is required. Training, mentorship, proven systems, ongoing support, and access to prospective client leads are available to help agents build their business.

Who We're Looking For

You do not need an insurance background to succeed here.

We are looking for motivated, coachable individuals who want more ownership over their career and are willing to put in the work required to build it.

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Communicate well and genuinely enjoy helping people
  • Are self-motivated and comfortable working independently
  • Value flexibility but understand that flexibility still requires discipline
  • Are coachable and willing to follow a proven system
  • Want your income to reflect your performance rather than a predetermined salary
  • Are interested in personal growth, leadership, or entrepreneurship
  • Hold a high standard of integrity when working with clients

What You'll Do

Within our agency you will work directly with individuals and families to understand their needs and help them identify appropriate insurance and financial protection solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting with prospective clients virtually or by phone
  • Conducting needs-based conversations with individuals and families
  • Educating clients about available protection options
  • Helping clients apply for appropriate insurance products
  • Following up with clients throughout the application process
  • Maintaining accurate client records
  • Participating in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development
  • Building strong, long-term client relationships

Agents have access to lead programs designed to connect them with consumers who have requested information about available protection options. This allows agents to focus on serving interested families and developing their sales skills rather than relying solely on friends, family, or their personal network to build a client base.

Agents are responsible for building and managing their own pipeline. Lead availability and cost may vary by program and market.

For those interested in leadership, there are also opportunities to mentor other agents, build a team, and pursue agency ownership.

Experience & Licensing

Previous experience in insurance is not required.

Experience in sales, customer service, leadership, education, hospitality, real estate, recruiting, or other people-focused professions can be helpful, but we are primarily looking for the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn.

An active life insurance license is required to conduct business. Candidates who are not currently licensed may still apply and will be provided information about completing the required pre-licensing education and state licensing process.

Compensation & Opportunity

This is a performance-based, commission opportunity rather than a salaried position.

Agents have the opportunity to benefit from:

  • Uncapped commission-based earning potential
  • Full-time or part-time schedules
  • Remote work flexibility
  • Performance-based bonuses and incentives
  • Opportunities to qualify for company incentive trips
  • Vested renewal/residual income on eligible business
  • Advancement opportunities based on performance
  • A pathway toward team building and agency ownership

There is no predetermined ceiling on what you can earn, but individual results vary and income is based on personal production, activity, skill development, and consistency.

Why Valentine Financial Group?

We believe a career should provide more than a paycheck. It should give you the opportunity to serve people, develop yourself, build something meaningful, and create options for your future.

If you're looking for more ownership over your time, income, growth, and career, we'd like to meet you.

Apply today to start the conversation.

No agent’s success, earnings, or production results should be viewed as typical, average, or expected. Not all agents achieve the same or similar results, and no particular results are guaranteed. Your level of success will be determined by several factors, including the amount of work you put in, your ability to successfully follow and implement our training and sales system and engage with our lead system, and the insurance needs of the customers in the geographic areas in which you choose to work.

By submitting this form, you agree to recurring contact from Symmetry Financial Group LLC and its affiliated companies under common control and their insurance agents via text & live, automated, A.I., or prerecorded calls, including for marketing or recruiting purposes. Consent not a condition of purchase.
