This is a Permanent position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Salary: $125,000-$135,000/Annually

Role: Senior Controls Engineer

Role Description: The Senior Controls Engineer must have 7+ years of experience. A Senior Controls Engineer to lead the design and implementation of monitoring, communication, and system control hardware and software for the Substation Division.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the renewable energy sector. This job provides our group with expertise in electromechanical relay control as well as PLC/HMI/SCADA systems development and testing.

You will help us create monitoring and controls systems for energy infrastructure. Position yourself in a robust industry with tremendous growth potential in the area of performance monitoring for renewables.

What You’ll Do:

- Design and Innovate: Lead the development and integration of PLC systems and SCADA software, driving advanced solutions for substation monitoring and control.

- Enhance Processes: Identify opportunities to improve product quality, reduce lead times, and streamline construction designs for greater efficiency and customer satisfaction.

- Define Specifications: Collaborate on creating precise hardware and software specifications, while preparing and reviewing detailed mechanical and electrical drawings.

- Drive Excellence: Ensure software installations are seamless by managing updates, version control, and robust testing protocols.

Education: Any/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 7+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will cover relocation expenses
