Job Title: Team Lead - Private Markets Fund Operations
Location: New York
Job Description
The New York Private Markets Financial Operations team is hiring an experienced, hands - on Team Lead for Private Markets Investment Controlling. The role blends people leadership with strong investment controlling expertise and a focus on driving change across the platform. The successful candidate will have experience leading a small team (around 3-4 people), stay close to the detail, and play an active role in strategic and platform initiatives, including process improvements and automation.
The successful candidate will act as the senior Private Equity and Private Credit fund control lead in New York , with accountability for regulatory oversight, service provider management and the delivery of high quality financial and investor reporting across complex fund structures.
Key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing day -to- day investment controlling activities, ensuring accurate and timely NAV, performance, and investor reporting.
  • Review and sign off work by team members.
  • Reviewing complex transactions, valuations, and cashflow activity, and guiding the team through technical areas.
  • Acting as the escalation point for issues with administrators, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate process improvement efforts to streamline workflows, strengthen controls, and support automation initiatives across Private Markets Ops in the region.
  • Partnering with technology, platform teams, and cross functional stakeholders to drive system enhancements and operational scalability.
  • Coaching and developing team members, setting clear priorities, and ensuring high quality , consistent delivery.
  • Supporting strategic projects such as platform upgrades, new product launches, or changes in accounting/valuation frameworks.

Requirements
  • 1 5 + years of experience in private equity /private credit fund control, fund accounting, or private markets operations within a U.S. asset manager, investment adviser, or administrator
  • Strong background working in an oversight capacity, ideally within an SEC registered investment adviser framework or similar governance environment
  • Experience with 40 act funds beneficial
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate and drive team members
  • P eople management experience, with at least 5 years in a team lead or management capacity
  • Experience overseeing third-party administrators and complex P E / private credit fund structures
  • Strong understanding of closed end and open-ended private equity vehicles and relevant governance and reporting obligations
  • Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to quality
  • Open mindset, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel to Switzerland and other offices from time to time

Salary range
The Company anticipates that the annual base salary for this New York City-based, non-exempt position could range from $190,000.00 to $220,000.00. The actual annual base salary paid for this position will depend on factors, such as the skill, experience, and qualifications of the chosen candidate for the position.
