This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a climate-controlled workspace. While working from home, you will be expected to collaborate virtually with department members and healthcare providers, fostering a supportive community atmosphere.

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health, utilizing established tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders to formulate individualized care plans that consider cultural diversity and specific patient needs.
• Continually evaluate patient progress, adjusting interventions and therapeutic strategies as necessary to support optimal mental health outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely treatment records and documentation, complying with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
• Work collaboratively with patients and their families to create detailed treatment plans that define measurable goals, expectations, and interventions tailored to the unique circumstances surrounding a cancer diagnosis.
• Coordinate with referral options and establish effective relationships with other treatment providers to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
• Provide mentorship and guidance for students and interns, contributing to their clinical development and fostering a culture of learning.
• Participate in clinical collaboration and peer reviews as directed, enhancing team efficacy and improving the quality of care.

Your primary focus will be on individuals and families affected by cancer, a population requiring sensitive handling of emotional and psychological challenges. In this role, your expertise will provide crucial support, helping patients navigate their feelings, cope with their diagnosis, and achieve desired health outcomes.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current State Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based practices and their application within clinical settings.

While not mandatory, experience in hospice care or working with oncology patients will be advantageous. Familiarity with telehealth modalities and electronic health record systems is a plus, as the position will involve managing virtual patient interactions and documentation.

The salary for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
