This position allows for a flexible work setting, as it is fully remote. You will frequently communicate and collaborate with other professionals, sharing insights and developing joint strategies to elevate patient care systems.

• Conduct thorough assessments utilizing the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to evaluate patient statuses, considering cultural and socioeconomic factors that impact mental health.
• Develop individualized care plans, continually evaluating their effectiveness, and adjusting interventions as necessary to enhance patient well-being.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements, utilizing modern technology to improve reporting efficiency.
• Collaborate with patients to craft treatment objectives that address their unique needs and goals, fostering a supportive environment encouraging open communication and trust.
• Manage and coordinate referrals to appropriate internal or external treatment providers, ensuring patients have a seamless access to additional resources as needed.
• Engage in educational initiatives by mentoring students, interns, and other healthcare personnel, sharing your expertise in mental health practices.
• Participate in peer review and clinical collaboration as a means of enhancing team skills and collective knowledge under your clinical supervisor's guidance.

You will be primarily focused on serving patients battling cancer, which requires a profound understanding of the emotional and psychological challenges faced by them and their families. Your role will be critical in developing coping strategies and providing support to enhance their mental well-being during this challenging time.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• Experience in outpatient therapy environments, particularly in oncology or related fields, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities related to mental health counseling.

The annual compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $105,000, providing competitive salary alongside a comprehensive benefits package. We also offer a sign-on bonus to support your transition into our team.
