Job description

Built on meritocracy, our unique company culture rewards self-starters and those who are committed to doing what is best for our customers.

Brown & Brown is seeking an Assistant Real Estate Manager to join our growing team!

In this fully remote role, you'll support a fast-moving transaction pipeline (~100 deals/year) - renewals, relocations, expansions, consolidations, and exits - partnering with our national brokerage firm and internal leaders to deliver clear recommendations, keep deals on track, and ensure our CoStar system-of-record stays accurate and decision-ready.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Manage a high-volume transaction pipeline (renewals, relocations, expansions, consolidations, exits) and drive milestones from strategy through execution.

  • Coordinate day-to-day deliverables with the national brokerage partner, landlords, and vendors; ensure consistent templates and complete deal files.

  • Build decision packages summarizing options, economics, concessions, risks, and recommended next steps for business leaders.

  • Partner with Finance, Legal, IT, Workplace/Facilities, and Security to align approvals, due diligence, and readiness activities.

  • Support LOI/lease review by validating that negotiated terms match drafts and required exhibits are complete.

  • Maintain accurate transaction stages, dates, and key terms in CoStar; produce pipeline and critical-date reporting.

  • Ensure clean handoffs for buildouts/moves and confirm executed terms are captured and stored per standards.

Skills & Experience to be Successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3+ years supporting commercial real estate transactions (corporate, brokerage, transaction management, or portfolio/lease consulting).

  • Working knowledge of commercial leases, negotiations, and deal economics (rent structure, CAM/OPEX, escalations, options, TI/free rent).

  • Strong Microsoft 365 skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and ability to produce executive-ready summaries.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders with strong attention to detail and sound judgment.

  • Experience with multi-market portfolios and CoStar (or similar CRE platform) for transaction tracking and reporting (preferred).

Pay Range

$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
