Job DescriptionOverview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Intercompany Lead to assist in designing, implementing, and overseeing our Intercompany Hub within the Shared Services organization. This role will play a critical part in driving process standardization, operational efficiency, and financial accuracy across global intercompany activities.

Initially operating as a senior individual contributor collaborating with the GPO, the successful candidate will provide cross-functional leadership and governance across intercompany processes, with the focus on building and leading a dedicated team.

Your role
  • Participate in the design,implementation, and evolution of the Intercompany Hub and its operating model
  • Standardize and optimize end-to-end intercompany processes (invoicing, payables, reconciliation, settlements) while driving automation and system improvements
  • Oversee intercompany accounting, including reconciliations, eliminations, accruals, and FX impacts, ensuring accurate and timely month-end close
  • Ensure integrity and alignment of intercompany balances across entities, with strong compliance and control framework
  • Provide functional oversight to intercompany AR/AP teams, ensuring alignment and effective dispute resolution
  • Act as escalation point for complex intercompany issues, managing stakeholder relationships and resolving disputes
  • Help Defineand track KPIs, driving performance, transparency, and continuous improvement
  • Identify and implement efficiency opportunities, reducing manual work, rework, and aged balances
  • Serve as the central point of contact across Finance, business, GPO, and IT
  • Support the development of the future-state team and transition into a leadership role over time
About you
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (CPA/CA preferred)
  • 7-10+ years of relevant experience in:
  • General Accounting / Record-to-Report
  • Intercompany accounting
  • Shared Services or Global Business Services environment
  • Month-end close and reconciliation processes
  • Key Skills & Competencies
  • Strong finance and accounting expertise, particularly in intercompany processes
  • Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Solid IT and systems acumen (ARCS, Oracle ERP systems, automation, data analysis tools)
  • Demonstrated ability to design and improve processes in a global environment
  • Experience working in a matrix organization with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to:
  • Partner effectively with business teams
  • Manage and resolve escalated disputes in a professional and timely manner
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and change management skills
