Job description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Finance Attorney for a remote contract position with a confidential client. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic legal team and contribute to significant commercial finance transactions.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal counsel and support on a wide range of commercial finance transactions, including asset-based lending, secured transactions, and syndicated loans.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex financial agreements, including loan agreements, security agreements, and intercreditor agreements.
  • Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for commercial finance transactions.
  • Advise clients on compliance with federal and state regulations related to commercial finance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of finance transactions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to commercial finance.
  • Stay current with changes in commercial finance laws and regulations to provide accurate and up-to-date legal advice.
  • Manage and resolve any legal issues or disputes that arise during the course of finance transactions.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar membership in good standing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial finance attorney, with a focus on asset-based lending and secured transactions.
  • Strong understanding of commercial finance laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Experience working in a remote environment is preferred.
