Remote Contract Rn information

What is a remote contract RN?

Remote Contract Registered Nurses (RNs) are licensed nursing professionals who provide healthcare services remotely, often via telehealth platforms. They work on a contract basis, which means they are hired for a specific period or project rather than as permanent employees. Their duties can include patient consultations, triage, care coordination, and health education, all performed virtually or over the phone. This role offers flexibility but requires strong communication and technical skills to deliver quality care from a distance.

RNs typically handle more complex patient assessments and care planning, while LPNs focus on basic patient support and documentation. Understanding these differences helps job seekers find roles aligned with their qualifications and career goals.

How does a remote contract RN typically collaborate with on-site healthcare teams and physicians?

As a Remote Contract RN, collaboration with on-site teams is essential and usually accomplished through secure telehealth platforms, virtual meetings, and regular electronic communications. You may coordinate patient care plans, provide updates, and clarify orders directly with physicians and other healthcare staff. Strong communication skills and proficiency with digital health record systems are crucial for ensuring seamless teamwork and optimal patient outcomes. Remote RNs often attend virtual shift handovers and participate in multidisciplinary team discussions to stay aligned with overall patient care strategies.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote contract RN?

To thrive as a Remote Contract RN, you need an active RN license, strong clinical judgment, and experience in case management or telehealth nursing. Familiarity with telehealth platforms, electronic health records (EHRs), and secure communication systems is typically required. Excellent time management, independent decision-making, and clear virtual communication are vital soft skills for success in a remote setting. These skills ensure effective patient care, regulatory compliance, and seamless collaboration without direct supervision.

Director of Talent Acquisition

Job description

Role Overview

The Director of Talent Acquisition owns the full-cycle recruiting function at Hueman People Solutions. This leader is accountable for delivering clinical and corporate talent across a national, multi-market footprint -- with particular emphasis on advanced practice providers, care managers, and the field and operations roles that underpin a value-based model.

This is a high-leverage, high-visibility role. You will inherit a team that is actively scaling, a sophisticated pipeline-stage analytics framework, and a set of well-documented challenge markets. The work ahead includes driving offer acceptance rates toward industry benchmark, reducing time-to-hire from its current elevated position, resolving structural barriers in several key markets (bilingual requirements, rural geography, compensation misalignment), and building the infrastructure -- ATS, sourcing engine, recruiter capacity -- to sustain growth from new payer relationships.

Responsibilities

·       Own the enterprise talent acquisition strategy across clinical (APP, RN, SW, Travel, Enrollment) and corporate (IT, Finance, Operations, Strategy, Legal) hiring.

·       Set and hold the team accountable to weekly, monthly, and quarterly pipeline and fill targets across all open requisitions.

·       Lead, develop, and scale a team of recruiters and sourcers; currently expanding with two FTE and two contract additions.

·       Partner with the CHRO and HR leadership team to align recruiting investments with headcount planning, payer growth, and market expansion timelines.

·       Represent talent acquisition in executive and board-level conversations as needed; present weekly recruiting briefings to CHRO, COO, and regional presidents.

·       Drive fill rates for pod clinical roles (NP/PA/APP, Care Manager RN, Social Worker) as the highest-priority pipeline.

·       Build market-specific strategies for challenge geographies, including rural markets, bilingual requirement markets, and markets with compensation misalignment.

·       Partner closely with regional presidents, market managers, and clinical operations on hiring manager SLAs, compensation decisions, and interview speed.

·       Develop early-career and pipeline programs (campus, RN-to-APP, preceptorship) to build a long-term clinical talent engine.

·       Lead ATS selection and implementation to replace manual tracking workflows; maintain and improve funnel analytics across sourcing, screening, offer, and acceptance stages.

·       Set and enforce recruiter SLAs (sourcing volume, response times, feedback turnaround). Partner with HR on compensation benchmarking to reduce offer decline rates.

·       Own employer brand strategy and execution across Indeed, LinkedIn, and targeted clinical job boards. Drive sourcing innovation including passive outreach, referral programs, and market-specific advertising.

Position Requirements

·       10+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, with at least 4 years leading a recruiting team at the director or VP level.

·       Demonstrated success recruiting clinical roles -- advanced practice providers, registered nurses, or equivalent -- in a high-growth, multi-site healthcare environment.

·       Experience owning enterprise-wide recruiting strategy across both clinical and corporate functions.

·       Proven track record reducing time-to-hire and improving offer acceptance rates in a competitive labor market.

·       Analytical orientation: comfortable with funnel metrics, pipeline dashboards, and data-driven decision-making.

·       Experience managing or selecting ATS platforms and building recruiter enablement infrastructure.

·       Excellent executive communication skills; comfortable presenting to CHRO, COO, and senior leadership weekly.

·       Experience in value-based care, home-based care, or Medicare Advantage-adjacent models preferred.

·       Familiarity with rural or underserved market recruiting, including bilingual workforce strategies preferred.

Applicants requiring a reasonable accommodation to participate in the hiring process may contact recruitment@hueman.com.
