Our Client is seeking an APG Data Analyst for a long term, remote, contract opportunity. The ideal Data Analyst for their team is adept in current computing technologies, highly organized and team-oriented, and pays attention to detail.
Contract Duration: 1 year

The Data Analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining all aspects of data within the management system. This includes process and maintain product and vehicle data and reports directly to IT Manager. Clean, organized product and vehicle data is essential to providing a positive, trustworthy shopping experience.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Automotive knowledge a major plus! (but not required)
  • Strong proficiency in Excel/MS Access
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of SQL, HTML, RegEx and similar internet technologies preferred (but not required for this position)


Position Performance Measures:

  • Check in daily with Managers
  • Keep Manager apprised of work status
  • Join team/Meetings when required
  • Increase number of sellable items in Company Catalog
  • Increase number of selectable vehicles in Company Catalog


What You Will Be Doing

  • Reconcile and investigate and resolve vehicle data issues.
  • Manipulate, change, re-format, & scrub product and vehicle data to be sent to data validation tools
  • Translate data to Company style guides
  • Use Microsoft Excel daily to convert product data to internal standards
  • Use internet and best practice documentation to search and find answers and solutions to complex vehicle data
  • Work closely with other departments such as Merchandising and Customer Service to determine the best presentation for products
