Job description

Job Title: Contract Manager

Location: Remote- Albany, NY

Engagement: 1 Year | 37.5 hours/week

Pay: $30-45/hr 

Position Overview
This role will predominantly focus on supporting the administration of the Flexergy solicitation, including facilitating scoring committees, preparing paperwork for approvals, routing and tracking the issuance of awards, and maintaining contact lists. The Project Manager will also provide broader administrative support to the Contract Management team, including support for the general solicitation process, routing NEIS contracts, and other tasks as identified and needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee scoring committees, including provisioning system access for members, scheduling and facilitating meetings, and maintaining contact lists
  • Route contracts and track progress through to full execution/signature
  • Support Client staff in leveraging various contractor pools, including sending bids to firms, evaluating proposals, and entering Task Work Orders with awarded firms
  • Assist with routine and complex Assignment Agreements
  • Provide support for various administrative processes and functions, such as solicitation set-up and processing insurance requests
  • Perform other duties as assigned that contribute to the key outcomes of the Contract Management team

  • Well-developed understanding of relevant technical principles and their application to a program area; acknowledged expertise at a conceptual level in at least one program area
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage projects with limited specific direction, including developing new projects and co-funding sources on own initiative
  • Demonstrated ability to implement projects in a timely manner and manage all aspects of ongoing projects with minimal supervision; able to prioritize workload and think strategically in line with organizational goals
  • Ability to effectively lead working groups or program teams, provide guidance to junior staff, and supervise the day-to-day work of interns when appropriate
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to negotiate effectively with contractors and interface with customers and other outside contacts; comfortable presenting at professional meetings and conferences
