Who You Are
You are a master of absolute clarity. You have the unique ability to take dense, technical, and complex operational procedures and translate them into clean, user-friendly, and accessible handbooks. You are meticulous about grammar, formatting, and stylistic consistency, and you love collaborating with Subject Matter Experts to capture their technical knowledge accurately.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Draft Technical Documentation: Research, write, and format detailed operational guides, user manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Support Curriculum Development: Edit, proofread, and storyboard CBT training scripts, lesson guides, and study manuals.
- Enforce Style Standards: Maintain and distribute templates and style guides, ensuring complete compliance with CBP writing directives.
- Manage Repositories: Maintain highly structured documentation repositories, ensuring rigorous version control and accessibility.
What You Bring (Qualifications)
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in technical writing, editing, or a closely related role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Professional Writing, English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Tools: High proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and modern Content Management Systems (CMS).
