Job Summary
The Manager of Digital Content is responsible for executing digital marketing and content initiatives that support audience growth, engagement, and brand visibility across the Institute for Humane Studies (IHS) and its sub-brands, including ScholarsEdge. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, this role plays a key executional role in campaign delivery, content production, and digital channel management. While initially focused on executing established marketing strategies and campaigns, this position is expected to grow into increased ownership of campaign planning and paid media strategy over time, demonstrated through successful execution, optimization, and performance outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities
Digital Campaign Execution and Paid Media Development
  • Execute integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns supporting audience acquisition, engagement, and conversion across IHS brands, with a primary focus on ScholarsEdge.
  • Build, launch, and optimize paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, LinkedIn, and Meta.
  • Implement A/B testing, audience targeting, and budget adjustments to improve campaign performance.
  • Contribute to campaign planning and progressively take on ownership of discrete campaigns or channels based on performance and demonstrated capability.

Content Development and Distribution
  • Develop and produce digital content aligned with campaign and brand objectives, including written, visual, and platform-specific formats.
  • Adapt messaging for different audiences and channels while maintaining consistency across IHS and ScholarsEdge brands.
  • Support content distribution across email, social media, and web channels.

Website and Conversion Optimization
  • Maintain and update web and landing page content across IHS properties, including ScholarsEdge.
  • Execute improvements to user flows, landing pages, and conversion pathways to support campaign goals.
  • Conduct testing and implement changes based on user behavior and performance data.

Analytics and Performance Insights
  • Monitor and report on campaign and channel performance using analytics and marketing platforms. Build and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators.
  • Translate performance data into actionable recommendations and contribute to ongoing campaign optimization.

Cross-Brand Marketing Support
  • Partner with program, development, and communications teams to execute campaigns aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Support digital marketing efforts across multiple brands and initiatives, ensuring flexibility as priorities evolve beyond ScholarsEdge.
  • Contribute to improvements in marketing tools, workflows, and execution practices.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing or content marketing with a strong emphasis on hands-on execution.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing paid media campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta), including campaign setup, testing, and optimization.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing and analytics tools, such as Google Analytics (GA4), marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), and content management systems.
  • Experience with A/B testing, conversion optimization, and performance-driven marketing approaches.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt content across audiences and channels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting the growth of a digital platform, product, or online community, especially in academia.
  • Experience working across multiple brands or initiatives within a shared marketing function.
  • Experience in nonprofit, academic, or mission-driven organizations.
  • Familiarity with SEO and content optimization practices.
