Job description

Social Media & Content Analytics Manager
Social Media & Content Analytics Manager - Remote with up to 50% Travel, based in the Tri-State Area to support regular in-person collaboration with leadership and attendance at NYC-based events and activations. Must be local to the Tri-State Area including but not limited to New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maryland, and Virginia
CommentSold is in a critical stage of growth: launching and growing our creator commerce platform Pop.Store. Pop.Store is the fastest-growing AI-native commerce platform for creators, enabling them to turn content into conversions across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. We empower creators and brands with cutting-edge tools to scale their commerce efforts through high-performing, creator-native content.
We're seeking a Social Media & Content Analytics Manager - a performance-first marketer who treats data as the foundation of every content decision. This role is analytics at its core with content creation as the execution layer: you'll own social measurement, reporting, and experimentation across our channels, and use those insights to plan, produce, and optimize content that drives brand awareness, sales conversion, and customer engagement. The right candidate doesn't just post and hope - they build measurement frameworks, test hypotheses, dig into the data, and let performance insights shape what gets created next. If you're rigorously analytical, systematic, strategic, creatively fluent, comfortable being on camera, and love proving a brand story works with numbers, this is the role for you.
CommentSold, LLC stands as the preeminent North American authority in live and video commerce technology, currently holding the #1 ranking by G2. Since its inception in 2017, the organization has evolved into a robust, end-to-end platform supporting thousands of merchants throughout the United States. By providing comprehensive solutions for live selling, point-of-sale systems, warehouse optimization, marketing automation, branded shopping applications, and webstores, CommentSold delivers the essential infrastructure for businesses to flourish within the digital economy.
The right candidate will:
  • Own social media analytics end to end: define KPIs, build and maintain reporting dashboards, and deliver regular performance readouts (weekly, monthly, and campaign-level) to marketing leadership
  • Use data analysis to inform content strategy identifying what's working, why it's working, and how to replicate and scale it across platforms
  • Set specific, measurable objectives for every campaign (e.g., reach, engagement rate, CTR, conversion, follower growth, ROI) and report against them
  • Connect social performance to downstream business outcomes like new customer acquisition, user adoption, and revenue attribution
  • Design, produce, and execute social media content that aligns with business goals and campaign strategies across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and LinkedIn
  • Attend in-person industry events, brand activations, and creator meetups in the Tri-State area to capture content and represent CommentSold/Pop.Store on the ground
  • Understand each platform's native analytics and algorithmic behavior, and keep a pulse on the latest trends in fashion, social content, and pop culture; validating trend bets with performance data
  • Work with the Growth and Marketing teams to develop and implement an ongoing, data-informed content calendar and craft campaigns across multiple platforms and products for both CommentSold and Pop.Store
  • Be available for in-person content shoots, campaign launches, and on-site collaboration with creators/partners and leadership based in the Tri-State area
  • Be comfortable in front of a camera and star in social media content as required
  • Shoot, edit, and design content using brand guidelines while keeping business goals in mind
  • Meet in person regularly with the Growth/Marketing leadership team in the Tri-State area for planning, strategy alignment, and content reviews
  • Maintain and track CommentSold and Pop.Store public-facing social media platforms, including communicating with followers, engaging with other accounts, responding to queries in a timely manner, and monitoring customer reviews and tagged content
  • Collaborate with the Growth, Marketing, and other teams like creative and customer success to ensure brand consistency and share performance insights across the organization
  • Travel up to 50% (sometimes on weekends) to attend events and capture content for social channels
If you're right for this role, you:
  • Have 3+ years of experience in social media marketing with a demonstrated analytics and performance focus; SaaS, B2B, and eCommerce experience preferred
  • Have deep hands-on experience with social analytics and reporting tools across all platforms (e.g., Meta Business Suite/Insights, TikTok Analytics, YouTube Studio, Google Analytics/GA4, Sprout Social, Later, or similar)
  • Can build and maintain performance dashboards and translate raw data into clear, compelling insights for stakeholders
  • Understand key social and marketing metrics cold: CPM, CPC, CTR, CAC, engagement rate, conversion rate, ROAS and know which ones matter for which goals
  • Have experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks for social content
  • Have experience developing and implementing paid social campaigns, including performance monitoring, budget optimization, and ad campaign iteration based on results
  • Have a successful track record managing and creating social content for a tech/media company, fashion, or beauty business and can point to the measurable results you drove
  • Have experience managing campaigns and creating content across various social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Have experience ideating, creating, and editing various forms of content (e.g., video, Reels, static posts, ads) and using performance data to decide what to make more of
  • Have a proven understanding of the social landscape, platform best practices, and a clear grasp of consumers' social media habits
  • Are results-oriented with the ability to develop relationships and collaborate with multiple teams
  • Have excellent verbal communication skills; you're a natural storyteller on camera
  • Are comfortable hosting our social channels and being the face of our social media on TikTok/IG
  • Have experience with content editing platforms such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Adobe Express
  • Have experience using social scheduling tools such as Later or Meta Business Suite
