Housing Consultants of America is expanding our elite national team and is seeking seasoned Affordable Housing Compliance Professionals who are ready to travel (and/or work remotely), make impact, and work with one of the most respected compliance firms in the country.

🔎 Position Overview

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor role supporting affordable housing properties nationwide. Consultants will provide high-level compliance expertise through onsite file reviews, resident file audits, and/or remote consulting assignments.

💼 Compensation
  • $50/hour – Travel Assignments
  • $40/hour – Remote Assignments
📋 Primary Responsibilities
  • Conduct onsite and remote file audits
  • Process and review HUD & LIHTC certifications
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and documentation accuracy
  • Complete EIV reviews and voucher transmittals
  • Provide consulting support to property teams
  • Assist with HOTMA implementation and compliance updates
✅ Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 7+ years of affordable housing compliance experience
  • Strong background in HUD and LIHTC file processing
  • Demonstrated expertise with EIV, voucher transmittals, and HOTMA
  • Active COS and HCCP designations required
  • Ability to travel nationally with professionalism and adaptability (not required for remote positions)
