Job description

FHA Repairs Coordinator
Location: Brandon, 33511 - WFH Flexible
Training is onsite for about (2) weeks, must report in office quarterly for meetings, fully remote after training.
Pay: $20 - $23 per hour based on FHA experience/knowledge

Hours: 8-5pm M-Fr
Type: Contract to Hire
Job duties:

  1. Customer & Vendor Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors, addressing inquiries related to services, billing, timelines, and property repairs in a professional manner.
  2. Project & Workflow Management: Manage assigned territories/clients by coordinating timelines, quality standards, and workload using internal systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  3. Reporting & System Updates: Regularly update reports and various client systems to ensure deadlines are met and project data remains accurate and current.
  4. Claims & Bid Management: Create, negotiate, and evaluate bids; collaborate with insurance carriers and adjusters by reviewing claims and EOBs to support insurable repairs.
  5. Industry Knowledge & Flexibility: Maintain knowledge of company services and FHA conveyance processes; perform cross-functional duties as needed to support overall business operations.


Nice to have:

  • Functional knowledge of HUD specification and FHA guidelines
  • RepairBASE or XactPRM is a strong plus
  • Experience in P260


Requirements:

  • Must have direct experience with home repairs with the ability to review photos and know what needs work.
  • Must have residential construction knowledge working with vendors.
  • Must have experience building, requesting, reviewing, and approving bids (will have to learn within FHA guidelines).
  • Employer will perform testing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Background check required.
  • Drug screening required.
