To thrive as a Remote Configuration Analyst, you need a strong understanding of IT systems, network configuration, and software deployment, typically supported by a degree in computer science or a related field. Familiarity with configuration management tools (like Ansible, Puppet, or SCCM), scripting languages, and ticketing systems is essential. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective remote communication skills help analysts excel in distributed environments.
