This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to manage your schedule while meeting the needs of your patients. You will primarily engage in therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, with the option to occasionally meet in our outpatient office setting if needed. The work schedule typically spans Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient appointments and therapeutic needs.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify patient needs and devise personalized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, employing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups to foster community and understanding among patients facing similar challenges.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Offer crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, providing immediate care as needed.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and community resources that can assist in their recovery.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations to enhance collaborative care.
• Keep current with research advancements in mental health therapy to continuously improve service delivery.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Tennessee.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Proven skills in conducting thorough mental health assessments and creating effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients and collaborate with colleagues.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling or a related field.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including groups that may face social or economic challenges.
• A background in group therapy and facilitation is highly desirable.
