What You'll Be Doing:
  • Participate in the creation and validation of Digital Twin models for simulation and deployment.
  • Assist in the research and development of innovative solutions for efficient Digital Twin simulation, validation, and deployment using Twin Builder.
  • Test and validate the Digital Twin simulation engine to ensure robust performance and accuracy.
  • Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and tutorials to support users and internal teams.
What You'll Need:
  • Currently pursuing a MS in Computer Science or related technical field with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Must be enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to the program after completing the internship.
  • Experience with HTML5, JavaScript (ES5/ES6), TypeScript and CSS3.
  • Programming proficiency in Python, and exposure to Java or C++.
  • Experience with automation testing scripts using Python.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, responsibility, and motivation as a team player.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with modular frontend development and experience with Vue.js or React.
  • 2+ years of software development experience.
  • Knowledge of software testing basics (e.g., unit testing, blackbox testing).
  • Experience with Docker management (creation, maintenance, deployment).
  • Background in developing IoT or SmartHome applications.
  • Understanding of the development process, including specification, documentation, and quality assurance.
Key Program Facts:
  • Program Length: 3 - 4 months
  • Location: Hybrid - Canonsburg, PA (onsite and remote options available)
  • Working Model: Approximately 50% remote / 50% onsite, subject to team requirements
