Your analytics, data science, AI, and machine learning knowledge and consulting expertise, coupled with an original approach to your work, will help clients and stakeholders make sense of their data and encourage actionable results. We're looking for someone like you to steer complex data exploration and analytics projects through your experience with programming languages, operationalizing models, containerization, data architecture, cloud computing platforms for Intelligence Community.
As an advanced data scientist and researcher on our National Security team, you'll learn and apply innovative AI&ML methodologies to make a real-world impact on the Intelligence Community. You'll grow your skills in data science, AI, machine learning operationalization process, and predictive modeling. and shape the future of analytics through a variety of means like patents, peer-reviewed papers, major conference presentations, code submissions.

You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience in data science, engineering, analytics, or computer science fields
  • 2+ years of experience using data science programming languages such as Python or R
  • Experience with version control tools, including git, GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning methods
  • Ability to design and develop automated analytic software, techniques, and algorithms
  • Ability to develop solutions and integrate and extend free and open-source software (FOSS) or COTS products
  • Ability to generate data visualizations with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or ArcGIS
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science or Social Science, or 4+ years of experience in statistics, data science, computer science and social science in lieu of a degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
