We are looking for a Business Analyst who will be responsible for working with our clients to identify and capture business requirements, document processes and recommend process improvement. The candidate will lead requirements gathering workshops for multiple business areas and work directly with IT to deliver new systems and enhancements.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with business areas to identify and document business requirements and functional requirements

· Document and create current and future state processes and the underlying systems and applications for medium to high complexity processes as assigned

· Deliver business requirements and process documentation, and build technical design based on functional requirement

· Deliver recommendation of software and IT solutions that align with overall systems and business requirements

· Develop business cases, feasibility studies, and impact analyses for new initiatives or system changes

· Prepare detailed reports, presentations and dashboard for senior leadership

· Act as a liaison between business and technical resources

Required Experience:

· 7+ years of prior experience as a Business Analyst or other IT role, such as support or development

· BA / BS in IT, statistics, computer science, mathematics, information management, or a related field or equivalent experience

· Interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work independently or as part of team with both the Business and technology staff

· Skilled at defining and documenting business and functional requirements for ongoing system enhancements

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment

Preferred Skills:

· Previous experience working in the public sector with State-, County-, and City-level institutions

Education:

· Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science or related field.
