As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to clients via video conferencing, promoting their mental well-being and growth.
• Facilitate insightful discussions by encouraging clients to explore their feelings and experiences, thereby helping them develop a deeper understanding of their emotions and interpersonal relationships.
• Act as an advocate for clients, assisting them in setting realistic and achievable personal goals.
• Assess clients’ mental health status comprehensively, utilizing a solution-focused approach to design and implement effective treatment plans based on individual needs.

Your clientele will consist of stable adults who have been thoroughly screened before they book your services. These clients experience low acuity issues and do not present with severe mental health challenges, enabling you to focus on managing their developmental and situational concerns. Additionally, we ensure that you are matched with clients who align with your areas of expertise and preferences, ensuring effective therapeutic alliances.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A valid state license allowing independent practice as a mental health counselor, specifically LMFT, LPC, or LCSW, without any disciplinary actions.
• Strong interpersonal skills combined with a compassionate and empathetic attitude.
• Proficiency in using technology and computer programs relevant to telehealth.

Candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in counseling or related mental health fields are preferred. Experience working in telehealth settings and familiarity with virtual therapy platforms will be highly beneficial.
