Work Environment

This full-time position is entirely remote, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance while serving a wide range of clients from the comfort of your home. The expected work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required depending on patient needs. Our team operates in a supportive, collaborative culture, working together across multiple disciplines to provide holistic care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history, facilitating the creation of individualized treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement tailored therapeutic interventions, focusing on recovery strategies and resilience-building techniques to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide therapy sessions.
  • Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, allowing patients to process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and foster healing.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive, integrated approach to patient care.
  • Respond to trauma-related emergencies with crisis intervention support, providing immediate assistance and stabilization as needed.
  • Educate patients and their families about trauma responses to empower them with knowledge regarding coping mechanisms and available resources.
  • Maintain meticulous and secure documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy within our electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities focused on trauma-informed care strategies.
  • Stay current with ongoing research and emerging best practices within the field of trauma therapy to continuously improve service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapeutic services are geared towards individuals grappling with trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, or dissociative disorders. The ideal candidate will be equipped to offer trauma-informed care to diverse populations, including adults, adolescents, and families engaged in the healing process.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, preferably focused on trauma therapy.
  • Demonstrated expertise in trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed therapeutic modalities and resilience-building approaches.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills combined with a compassionate, approach to patient care.
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations.
  • Proficient in using electronic health record systems and relevant computer applications.
  • A collaborative spirit and commitment to working within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Preferred Experience
