• Develop and maintain trusting, therapeutic relationships with clients, providing them with a safe and confidential space for open communication.
• Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques, to help clients overcome their challenges and achieve personal goals.
• Conduct regular assessments to evaluate clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring each individual receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs.
• Implement active listening and empathetic communication techniques to validate clients' experiences and foster emotional healing.
• Participate in bi-weekly team meetings and case consultations to discuss client progress, share insights, and enhance collaborative approaches to care.
• Engage in self-reflection and continuous professional development opportunities to enhance counseling practices and stay updated on industry trends and research.

You will be working with a diverse clientele, including individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and other mental health challenges. Your understanding of various cultural backgrounds will enable you to provide culturally competent care, ensuring that each client feels respected and understood within their unique context.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC) credential.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor; five years preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills to effectively connect with clients and families.
• Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, to maintain accurate records and client documentation.

• Experience working in community health settings, particularly with underserved populations.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital record-keeping systems.
• Addition of specific therapy modalities such as trauma-informed care or play therapy could be advantageous.
