Your primary duties will revolve around assessing and treating clients through video counseling sessions. Specific tasks include:

• Conducting ethical, compassionate, and individualized mental health counseling sessions.
• Employing evidence-based treatment modalities, including solution-focused therapy, to address client needs.
• Developing personalized treatment plans that outline specific goals and interventions tailored to each client.
• Providing ongoing support and monitoring client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.
• Facilitating discussions that help clients gain insights into their experiences, emotions, and relationships.

You will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adults, addressing a broad spectrum of mental health issues ranging from anxiety and depression to relationship challenges and life transitions. To be considered for this position, you must possess:

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related discipline such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current state-issued mental health counseling license that allows you to practice independently. Accepted licenses include:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
• Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
• No limited or provisional licenses; applicants must have no disciplinary actions on record.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills paired with a sympathetic and understanding nature.
• Strong computer literacy and the ability to conduct sessions via video with appropriate technology.
• A reliable internet connection to ensure smooth operations and client interactions.

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, candidates with additional experience working with diverse populations and proficiency in multiple therapeutic modalities will be highly valued. Experience with teletherapy platforms and a background in crisis intervention will also enhance your application.
