As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting confidential and ethical counseling sessions via video chat, focusing on building a therapeutic rapport with clients.
• Utilizing evidence-based, solution-focused treatment modalities to support clients in navigating their mental health challenges.
• Crafting individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of clients' presenting concerns.
• Helping clients gain insights into their emotions, behaviors, and interpersonal relationships, enabling them to make positive life changes.
• Monitoring and evaluating clients' progress through regular assessments and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Encouraging the development of healthy coping strategies to assist clients in managing stress and enhancing their overall well-being.

Your primary focus will be on stable, low acuity adults presenting with a variety of mental health concerns. These may include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, stress management, and relationship issues. Your role is crucial in empowering clients to develop skills and strategies that improve their quality of life.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related discipline such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current and unrestricted state-issued mental health counseling license (e.g., LMFT, LCSW, LPC, or PsyD) to operate independently.
• No limited or provisional licenses, and no history of disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
• Strong proficiency in computer literacy, including a reliable computer with webcam and audio capabilities for virtual sessions.
• A dependable internet connection to facilitate uninterrupted video counseling.

Experience in telehealth services or remote counseling is highly valued, along with familiarity in administering solution-focused modalities. Candidates with a background in working with diverse populations and those who demonstrate an ability to establish rapport quickly are encouraged to apply.
