OVERVIEW: The position of RV/Marine Territory Relationship Manager at Newcoast is responsible for generating new business by contacting potential brokers, dealers, manufacturers, referral sources and centers of influence. This position will drive new business by creating dealer, broker, manufacturer, and partner direct relationships. The Territory Relationship Manager will develop a network of referral business and negotiates financial services products that match the needs of prospective customers. The goals of the Territory Relationship Manager are to build and maintain strong positive relationships and increase Newcoastโ€™s reputation as the premier provider of financial services products for the recreational industry. The Territory Relationship Manager will work closely with our product divisions and Newcoast sales leadership to develop and maintain a sustainable production pipeline that aligns with company strategy, product appetite and steady growth.

KEY TASKS:ย 

  • ย Achieve dealer/broker/manufacturer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
  • Cultivate relationships with prospects and customers to create customer satisfaction and repeat business.ย 
  • Evaluate Dealer/Broker/Manufacturer or individual customersโ€™ needs and propose financial products that meet their criteria.ย 
  • Maintain production pipeline records in CRM systems.
    • Track and maintain intelligence on all leads.
    • ย Track and maintain all activities related to prospecting and deals in progress.
    • Utilize dashboards and reporting to provide progress metrics to sales leadership.ย 
    • Participation in campaigns via CRM provided by the marketing team.ย 
  • Constantly update job knowledge through sales development training.ย 
  • Stay current on and learn about new financial products and services.

KEY RESULT AREAS:

  • Meets individual business growth goals and new business targets.
  • Meets cross-selling goals.
  • Ensures that all financial and work products delivered to prospects and customers meet the high-quality standards of Newcoast.
  • Provide regular reporting and communication of metrics to demonstrate success of production pipeline activities, individual growth goals and overall performance.
  • Demonstrate continued personal improvement via growth of skillsets in sales methodology, finance and insurance knowledge and general marine and RV industry knowledge.
  • Identify areas of optimization and opportunities as well as provide informed recommendations for the financial product divisions and Newcoast leadership.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with other production team members and sales teams.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • One Year or more experience in sales or various marine financing roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in remote-working environments.
  • Experience and understanding of CRM systems and commonly used sales tools.
  • Proactive, organized, results driven, meets deadlines, self-driven, collaborative.
  • This person must have strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to influence others and strong cross-functional leadership.
  • This person is charismatic, friendly, and upbeat with ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Understanding and aptitude with modern computer technology, Zoom and other software tools.
