Remote Sales Account Executive


Job Summary:

As a Sales Representative for Marquis Who’s Who, you will engage with accomplished professionals who are in the final stages of being considered for inclusion in our prestigious registry, Marquis Who’s Who in America. These individuals have already completed a comprehensive questionnaire and passed an initial screening. Your role is to conduct a final phone interview to gather in-depth information about their background, career achievements, and professional goals. During the call, you will also identify additional opportunities to support their success by offering enhanced products and services designed to boost their visibility and credibility through a trusted third-party endorsement from Marquis Who’s Who.

As a Remote Sales Representative with Marquis Who’s Who, you'll have the chance to interact with accomplished professionals while driving impactful sales results.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Outbound Calling/Emailing: Drive consistent daily outreaches to your qualified leads (50-100 calls per day).
  • Conduct Interviews: Interview your leads to assess their eligibility for inclusion in our registry while identifying needs for additional products and services.
  • Sales Closing: Advise on suitable products and finalize the sale during the conversation ("one-call close").
  • Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed sales closing ratios and weekly revenue targets.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in our proprietary CRM software
  • Following Procedures: Adhere to established scripts, policies, and procedures


Required Qualifications:

  • Proven Sales Skills: Ability to identify needs and handle objections.
  • Closing Competence: Strong aptitude for closing a sale.
  • Product Knowledge: Strong ability to grasp an in-depth understanding of the products and services being offered.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and persuasive speaking skills.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize generating sales while maintaining high daily activity.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency using CRM software and virtual communication tools (Zoom, Teams, Outlook).
  • Remote Setup: Capability to work a full, uninterrupted day effectively from home, which includes a dedicated workspace and equipment.
  • High Volume Work: Capability to handle a busy, active role which includes 3-5 hours of talk time, and continuous tasks throughout the day.

  • Stable, high-speed internet with sufficient Upload and Download speeds
  • Computer or Laptop with 1 open port (no Tablets or Chromebooks)
    • Minimum Device Requirements:

Additional Details:

  • Leads
    • Candidates will start with a substantial client base to contact and will receive new, fresh inbound leads daily.
  • Tech:
    • A hardwired connection is strongly suggested and may be required if connectivity poses a problem.
    • Candidates should be well prepared for a remote, WFH role, including an updated computer device, a dedicated office workspace, sufficient support equipment, and strong Internet speeds.
    • Internet speed tests will be conducted and must be sufficient to greenlight a hiring decision.
  • Activity:
    • Candidates are expected to have consistent activity throughout the workday (dials/emails/call airtime).
    • Activity is monitored and used for coaching and development purposes.
    • This is not a flexible-schedule, work-from-home role.
  • Working hours:
    • Monday-Thursday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm EST, and Friday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm EST
    • During the first 13 weeks, candidates will frequently be asked to participate in pre-workday meetings starting at 8:30 am/8:45 am EST.
  • Only candidates with extensive sales experience will be considered.
  • Candidates will be asked to agree to a background check for this position.

  • Paid training. You are classified as a W-2 employee and will be paid your base salary from the first day of employment

Compensation:

  • The total annual on-target earnings (OTE) average range for 1st year reps is from $95,000 to $130,000, with top producers reaching 135K-150K
  • Compensation includes a base salary of $60,000 per year, with additional commissions expected to be between $35K and 90K.
  • Salary and Commissions are paid weekly
  • Commissions are uncap
