Senior Enterprise IT Project Manager 5398

100% Remote | 6-Month Contract w/ Strong Extension Potential

Tier4 Group is seeking a seasoned Senior Enterprise IT Project Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of enterprise technology initiatives within a growing PMO environment.

This is not a project coordinator role, and it's not a program management position focused solely on governance. We're looking for a hands-on project leader who can own delivery from initiation through execution while partnering with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams across the organization.

You'll have the opportunity to lead projects spanning:

  • Enterprise Infrastructure
  • Cybersecurity & Network Modernization
  • AI & Emerging Technology Initiatives
  • Business Applications
  • Data & Analytics
  • Manufacturing Systems
  • Enterprise Technology Transformations

This is a highly visible role where you'll regularly engage with senior leaders, directors, and executive stakeholders while driving critical business and technology initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Lead multiple enterprise technology projects from planning through successful delivery
  • Define project scope, schedules, milestones, budgets, and success criteria
  • Drive execution across cross-functional business and technology teams
  • Develop project estimates, forecasts, and financial plans
  • Manage budgets, purchase orders, vendor engagements, and invoice tracking
  • Facilitate executive-level project reviews and stakeholder communications
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Adapt Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery approaches based on project needs
  • Build strong partnerships with business leaders, technical teams, and executive stakeholders
  • Deliver clear, concise reporting and presentations to leadership
  • Contribute to the continued growth and maturity of the PMO

What Success Looks Like

Within your first six months, you will have:

  • Successfully delivered multiple enterprise technology initiatives
  • Built strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders
  • Established credibility with leadership and project teams
  • Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and execution excellence
  • Become a trusted project leader who stakeholders actively seek out for new initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Project Management experience
  • Experience leading large-scale enterprise technology projects
  • Proven success managing project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and resources
  • Experience developing estimates, forecasts, and tracking project financials
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • Experience presenting project status, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and professional services engagements
  • Experience working within a PMO environment
  • Strong proficiency with Jira, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and other project delivery tools
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • PMP certification or comparable project management certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP Certification
  • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), PMI-ACP, PMI-RMP, or other advanced PM certifications
  • Experience leading infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, or application delivery projects
  • Experience supporting AI, data, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives
  • Experience in large enterprise or highly regulated environments
  • Experience with Workfront or enterprise portfolio management tools

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Senior Project Manager who combines strong delivery discipline with excellent executive presence.

You are someone who:

  • Owns outcomes instead of escalating problems
  • Thrives in complex enterprise environments
  • Can confidently present to directors, VPs, and executive leadership
  • Builds credibility with both technical teams an
