Job description

Overview The Full Stack Developer I (FSD I) helps build and maintain the core engines that power the DataServ SaaS platform. In this role, the developer creates and supports web-based applications, including user interfaces, server-side processes, and various utilities. They are responsible for writing and running unit tests, documenting system changes, and assisting with deployment plans.

The FSD I also provides estimates for user stories and works to deliver high-quality solutions on time while meeting DataServ's standards and client expectations. The FSD I works closely with DevOps, QA, Product, and other internal teams in a collaborative SCRUM environment. This includes participating in daily standups, sprint demos, and retrospectives, as well as helping design solutions, resolve defects, and support testing efforts.

The role also involves contributing to documentation, supporting production operations, and assisting with deployments. With guidance from senior developers, the FSD I continues to build technical skills while contributing to ongoing improvements and new features within the DataServ platform. We are currently hiring this position in the following states: Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, South Carolina, Washington, Connecticut, Georgia, and Florida.

Responsibilities Build and maintain core engines powering the DataServ SaaS platform, including web-based applications, user interfaces, and server-side processes. Write, run, and maintain unit tests; document system changes; and assist with deployment plans. Provide estimates for user stories and deliver high-quality solutions on time while meeting DataServ standards and client expectations.

Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Product, and other teams in a SCRUM environment; participate in daily standups, sprint demos, and retrospectives. Contribute to solution design, defect resolution, testing support, and production operations; assist with deployments as needed. Under guidance from senior developers, continue to build technical skills and contribute to ongoing improvements and new features within the DataServ platform.

Qualifications Zero to 4 years of experience in a related area or industry. Thorough understanding of the full application development lifecycle. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred; Master's degree a plus.

Familiarity with continuous integration principles and NoSQL databases preferred. Familiarity with design patterns and test-driven development a plus. Experience writing development documentation and designing/implementing APIs and microservices a plus.
