Senior Data Engineer (Level II & Level III)
Level II is Remote work
Level III is Onsite at Los Angeles, CA
We are looking for experienced Data Engineers to support a large-scale Oracle to Snowflake migration initiative. This role involves dbt development, data transformation, pipeline validation and Snowflake optimization, along with strong collaboration across onsite and offshore teams.
Key Responsibilities
Level II Data Engineer 5+ years
  • Develop and maintain dbt models
  • Perform Oracle to Snowflake data transformation
  • Validate data using row count & checksum methods
  • Monitor ETL pipelines and ensure data accuracy
  • Optimize SQL for Snowflake performance
Level III Onsite - Lead / Architect 10+ years
  • Design Snowflake architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers)
  • Define dbt standards, macros and CI/CD practices
  • Lead UAT and stakeholder coordination
  • Handle critical migration issues and production cutover
  • Manage offshore delivery teams
Required Skills
  • Strong experience in dbt and Snowflake
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Experience with Oracle to Snowflake migration
  • Data validation and testing expertise
  • Experience with Git, VS Code and CI/CD practices
Preferred Skills
  • AWS Data Engineering (Glue, Lambda, Step Functions)
  • Data Lake / ELT pipeline experience
Education- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field
