Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer (Power Focus) โ Remote Opportunity
Work from home with occasional travel to project sites.
Prime Controls, a family-owned Systems Integration and I&C Construction firm, is looking for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer with a focus on power systems. PE required. Youโll design electrical power, grounding, and lighting systems that meet industry codes and client needs while collaborating with a nationwide team.
What Youโll Do
Design medium/low voltage power, lighting, grounding, and protection systems
Create wiring diagrams, switchgear layouts, and system studies (SKM PTW)
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers
Collaborate with clients, vendors, and utilities to support project success
What Youโll Bring
5+ yearsโ experience in industrial or oil & gas power system design
Professional Engineer (PE) License required
Bachelorโs in Electrical or Computer Engineering (ABET accredited)
Strong technical skills (MS Office, Bluebeam Revu, Navisworks; SKM PTW a plus)
