This role will support secure software delivery, cloud infrastructure operations, CI/CD automation, and release engineering initiatives within a collaborative DevSecOps environment. The engineer will work closely with developers, QA teams, security personnel, and platform engineers to improve deployment reliability, operational stability, and delivery efficiency across enterprise applications and services.
The candidate must reside within the continental US.
Responsibilities
  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application builds, automated testing, packaging, and deployments.
  • Implement automation solutions for environment provisioning, operational workflows, release activities, and infrastructure support tasks.
  • Support secure software delivery practices including code scanning, dependency validation, secrets management, and policy enforcement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment, pipeline, and environment-related issues across multiple applications and services.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve release quality, deployment reliability, and software delivery timelines.
  • Support cloud infrastructure and shared platform services in coordination with architects, engineers, and operations teams.
  • Maintain technical documentation for deployment pipelines, environment configurations, release procedures, and operational processes.
  • Participate in incident response activities, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor system, application, and pipeline performance and recommend improvements to tooling, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Support change management, release readiness, and deployment coordination activities for production and non-production environments.
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks and emerging challenges as required to support the team's goals and organizational priorities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, build and release engineering, systems administration, or cloud operations environments.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar automation platforms.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services, Linux administration, scripting, and infrastructure automation concepts.
  • Experience with containers, deployment tooling, and artifact repository management.
  • Understanding of DevSecOps principles, secure software delivery practices, and security-focused automation processes.
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues related to deployments, pipelines, infrastructure, and application environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative software delivery practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively across development, QA, security, and operations teams in complex technical environments.
