Job description

Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Technical Business Analyst and perform interviews and research to determine IT business requirements, and then translate them into specifications for complex technical projects and archive documentation.

This is a 2 year plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is fully remote based in Portland, OR. The hourly pay rate range for this position is $47.00 and $58.00 depending on qualifications.

The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:

Associate or bachelor's degree in information/Computer Technology, Business Systems, Computer Technology, or a related technical field is preferred.
7 years of experience is required with a bachelor's degree in applicable fields.
9 years of experience is required with an associate degree in applicable fields.
11 years of experience is required without a degree.
Experience should be consistent with the specific requirements of Business Systems Analysis and information technology and progressively more technical in nature.
Familiarity with the IEEE Software Development standards or equivalent.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with highly technical stakeholders to develop requirements.
Strong technical writing skills and the ability to present information concisely and in visual formats.
Technical interviewing skills in the IT environment Proficiency with MS Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project)
Broad knowledge of IT systems infrastructure, architecture dependencies and requirements
Valid U.S. Driver's License or Real ID is required.

Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of and skill in the following areas:
Experience with System Life Cycle (SLC) processes
Experience working in a data center or other IT environment
Some experience in project management and leadership
Background in writing technical designs and specifications
Energy/utility industry experience
Prior analysis experience in developing new infrastructures, utilizing emerging technology
