As an LCSW at Growth & Guidance Counseling, Ltd, you will:

• Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and other mental health professionals to create an integrated approach to student well-being.
• Conduct thorough assessments of students' emotional and social needs, tailoring individualized care plans to address their unique circumstances and challenges.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions that guide students in developing coping strategies, enhancing emotional intelligence, and resolving interpersonal conflicts.
• Provide consultation and support to parents and guardians, offering resources and strategies for promoting mental health at home.
• Engage in continuous professional development by exploring the latest research and best practices in the field of social work and mental health.

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents. You will work with a diverse population, addressing a range of issues including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and family dynamics. Qualified candidates should possess the following:

• A master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to build relationships with students, families, and staff.
