• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate each client’s substance abuse history, mental health needs, and relevant treatment requirements.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that address both addiction challenges and any underlying psychological issues, utilizing evidenced-based methodologies.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI) to foster client growth and recovery.
• Collaborate closely with other professionals, including physicians, nurses, and case managers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care and promote integrated treatment pathways.
• Provide accessible educational resources and support to clients’ families, aiding them in understanding the recovery process and how they can contribute positively.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records that align with ethical standards and comply with all regulatory guidelines.

In this role, you will primarily engage with a diverse population of individuals battling substance abuse disorders. Many clients may also require support for co-occurring mental health conditions, ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma-related disorders. Your expertise will significantly contribute to their recovery journey, enabling them to rebuild their lives and achieve sustained sobriety.

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling and substance abuse treatment methodologies.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices for addressing substance abuse and concurrent mental health disorders.
• Strong counseling skills, with demonstrated ability to build rapport and motivate clients to actively engage in their treatment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities to foster collaborative relationships within the treatment team.

• At least two years of relevant experience working directly with individuals facing substance abuse issues and accompanying mental health challenges.
• Proven ability to develop and lead group therapy sessions effectively, creating an environment of support and encouragement.
• Experience using digital tools and platforms for therapy, enhancing remote engagement and support for clients.

• A competitive annual salary between $80,000 and $100,000, commensurate with experience and professional credentials.
