• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
• Provide crisis management services, creating detailed pre-crisis and crisis plans that include behavioral guidelines and risk assessments.
• Complete necessary documentation in a timely manner, adhering to all regulatory standards and guidelines.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as directed by the clinical team to ensure effective patient care and clinical outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans.
• Actively participate in ongoing accreditation and licensing processes, maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice.
• Serve as a liaison among service systems, state agencies, and community partners to coordinate care and advocate for client needs.
• Communicate effectively and maintain open lines of communication to meet contract standards and promote our mission within the community.
• Network with local, state, and private organizations to enhance program visibility, secure partnerships, and explore funding opportunities.
• Commit to personal and professional growth by participating in relevant conferences, attending training sessions, and representing the agency at public events.

• Perform additional duties as directed by the Clinic Director, adapting to the evolving needs of our clients and organization.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Blue Ridge Behavioral Health, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including those experiencing mental health disorders, substance use challenges, developmental disabilities, and different phases of recovery. Our clients often seek guidance through telehealth services, requiring sensitivity, empathy, and effective communication skills to navigate their unique circumstances.

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• Possession of an independent LMHC license issued by the state of Florida.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain clinical records and prepare thorough reports.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interpersonal interactions.
