• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to effectively identify clients’ mental health concerns, thoroughly understanding their histories and challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other therapeutic frameworks that best meet client needs.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, guiding clients through their therapeutic journey, and adapting approaches as necessary based on client feedback and progress.
• Collaborate with clients to establish and refine therapeutic goals, consistently monitoring their progress and modifying treatment plans as appropriate to optimize outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing communication with clients through teletherapy options, ensuring accessibility and convenience in service delivery while maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with ethical guidelines and regulatory standards to ensure the highest degree of care is delivered.
• Participate in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and stay informed of emerging practices in mental health care.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at BWL Mental Health Center, you will work primarily with individuals seeking support for a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. Our diverse clientele varies in age, cultural backgrounds, and life situations, allowing for a rich and varied therapeutic experience. • A current and valid license in one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Possession of a master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology, ensuring a solid educational foundation for clinical practice.
• Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a nurturing and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• A strong sense of empathy, compassion, and non-judgmental attitude toward clients’ experiences and personal challenges.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to effectively manage a caseload and meet administrative responsibilities.

• Experience in providing individual counseling services, particularly in remote or teletherapy formats.
• Familiarity with various therapy techniques and an openness to learning new methodologies to best serve clients.
• Proven record of collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in mental health and wellness settings.

• Competitive yearly salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
