This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while maintaining a structured routine of Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to establish a comprehensive understanding of clients' mental health needs, challenges, and individual goals.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions for clients across various age groups and backgrounds, addressing a spectrum of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment difficulties.
• Collaboratively formulate and implement client-centered treatment plans that integrate evidence-based interventions alongside measurable objectives.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to clients undergoing urgent mental health crises, ensuring their overall safety and mental stability.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health disorders, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources tailored to enhance their support systems.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, documenting assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcome measurements while adhering to ethical and legal confidentiality standards.
• Uphold ethical guidelines and state regulations in counseling, including informed consent and confidentiality protocols.
• Exhibit cultural competency in service delivery, ensuring sensitivity to the diverse needs and backgrounds of all clients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary psychiatric team, coordinating care and discussing treatment strategies to ensure comprehensive service delivery.

Your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will involve working with a diverse client base, including individuals from various socio-economic backgrounds and age groups. The community health setting allows you to address mental health concerns that often intersect with social challenges, providing you the opportunity to make a profound difference in the lives of individuals facing significant obstacles.

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• State licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or relevant licensure.
• A minimum of three years of experience in clinical mental health service delivery, particularly in an outpatient setting.
• Strong clinical expertise in providing therapeutic services tailored to the outpatient model.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective collaboration with clients and team members.
• Empathetic approach and a talent for building therapeutic rapport, fostering trust and engagement with clients.
• Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and professional conduct in all interactions.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate efficient documentation and communication.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed approaches, to guide treatment.
• Prior involvement in collaborative care teams or multidisciplinary settings.
