• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations to assess clients' moods, behaviors, and emotional states, documenting the intensity and frequency of symptoms.
• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on their specific goals and therapeutic needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, outlining treatment options, coping strategies, and self-care practices.
• Continuously monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to reflect their evolving needs.
• Engage with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients.
• Participate in professional training and development, staying updated with the latest research in mental health to enhance your therapeutic practices.
• Maintain meticulous client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.
• Join team discussions and case consultations to collaborate on complex cases and contribute to collective knowledge.
• Actively advocate for clients by challenging mental health stigmas, addressing social barriers, and tailoring care to meet their unique backgrounds.

Our community clinic serves a diverse set of clients, ranging from individuals dealing with severe mood disorders to those facing life changes such as unemployment, relationship issues, or the impacts of trauma. You'll have the opportunity to work with marginalized groups, including homeless individuals, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse, providing critical support and intervention that can transform their lives.

• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
• Proven ability to establish trusted therapeutic relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude are essential traits for working with clients from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage a caseload effectively and complete administrative duties.

• Experience in providing therapy to clients with mood disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Previous work in community health settings or with underrepresented populations is a plus.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, based on qualifications and experience.
