As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct detailed assessments to identify clients' emotional strengths and challenges. Utilize your clinical expertise to diagnose mental health disorders effectively.
• Individual and Group Therapy: Provide therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families, facilitating both one-on-one sessions and group therapy focusing on a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal relationships.
• Treatment Planning and Implementation: Develop customized treatment plans that align with each client's unique goals. Monitor clients' progress and adjust interventions as necessary to optimize their therapeutic outcomes.
• Collaboration and Coordination of Care: Work collaboratively with a diverse team of mental health professionals, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care for each client. This includes managing referrals and connecting clients with community resources.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Ensure the accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes while adhering to ethical and legal standards for client confidentiality.
• Advocacy and Community Engagement: Act as an advocate for clients in accessing mental health care services, and actively participate in community outreach initiatives aimed at raising mental health awareness.

Your work will primarily involve clients dealing with a variety of mental health challenges, including addiction, anxiety disorders, depression, and trauma. To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Must possess a full, independent license to practice without supervision: LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW.
• No limited or provisional licenses will be accepted, and candidates should have no history of disciplinary actions.
• Strong decision-making and assessment evaluation skills, along with the ability to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate attitude towards clients.
• Proficiency with technology and digital communication tools, ensuring effective delivery of telehealth services.

While not mandatory, the following experiences may enhance your application:

• Previous experience in a mental health setting, particularly within addiction or community health clinics.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Skills in motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) are highly valued.
