The role of Mental Health Counselor is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to deliver care from anywhere in the United States. • Provide therapeutic counseling to clients using evidence-based practices tailored to individual needs.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that address mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety, and substance use issues.
• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to facilitate their journey towards improved mental health.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary care team, including medical providers and other healthcare professionals, to support clients holistically.
• Engage in single-session therapy options that empower clients while promoting ease of access to care.
• Communicate empathetically with clients, offering support and guidance while fostering a strong therapeutic alliance.

Your practice will primarily focus on adult clients who may be experiencing a breadth of mental health issues, substance use disorders, and chronic conditions. You will play an essential role in supporting individuals aiming to change their health behaviors and improving their overall well-being. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and you will need to apply cultural competence to effectively address their unique circumstances.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Possession of valid state licensure to practice independently as a therapist (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, etc.).
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling or a related field is required.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Strong commitment to ethical practice, with knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory standards in mental health care.
• Cultural competence and a proactive approach to diversity, equity, and inclusion within the therapeutic context.

• Experience in a community health setting, particularly with integrated care models.
• Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and electronic health record systems.
• Background in delivering brief therapeutic interventions or single-session models.

This Mental Health Counselor position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
