Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individualized assessments and develop tailored therapeutic strategies for clients.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and groups to address a variety of mental health concerns.
  • Employ a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for all clientele.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training workshops to stay abreast of advancements in mental health practices and research.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on individuals and families with limited access to mental health care. You will address a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, substance use issues, and relationship challenges, ensuring that your therapeutic approach is sensitive to the unique cultural and individual backgrounds of each client.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling role, ideally within a clinical setting.
  • Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards associated with counseling practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with a diverse client base.
