Job description

Welcome to Sensibly Sprouted!
Sensibly Sprouted is a dietitian-led practice dedicated to transforming lives through personalized nutrition and sustainable lifestyle change. Rooted in whole foods and evidence-based guidance, our approach helps patients achieve lasting health improvements.
With in-person offices in Bellingham, Arlington, and Seattle - alongside a strong telehealth platform - we serve communities across Washington.
Each dietitian plays a central role in our model of care. Our specialties include weight management, diabetes support, gastrointestinal health, and heart and kidney disease management. Through weekly one-on-one sessions, you will build meaningful relationships with patients and guide measurable, lasting progress.
Position Summary
The Dietitian provides comprehensive Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) across diverse patient populations. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care while developing broad clinical expertise and nutrition counseling skills. Dietitians at Sensibly Sprouted refine their clinical practice through meaningful patient outcomes, professional growth opportunities, and collaboration with a supportive team.
Reporting to a Lead Dietitian, you will manage a full patient schedule, document care in our EMR, and engage in professional development that supports both patient success and your long-term career advancement. This is a full-time, exempt position with clear growth opportunities into senior and leadership roles.
About Sensibly Sprouted
Our mission is to deliver a first-class experience driven by relationships, expert care, and life-changing results.
Our vision is to be the number one nutrition provider in the country, serving our communities through advanced technology, the latest research and the best dietetics team available.
Our core values guide how we operate:
  • Positivity - We approach challenges with optimism and solution-focused thinking.
  • Performance - We balance patient-centered care with business-driven outcomes.
  • Professionalism - We lead by example and uphold the highest standards in every interaction.

Why We're Different
Unlike traditional healthcare models, Sensibly Sprouted is dietitian-led, with RDs owning the care model and guiding leadership at every level. Our reporting structure is exclusively dietetic, from intern to CEO, creating a clear, profession-centered pathway for growth and advancement.
This model ensures that every level of care, leadership, and decision-making is rooted in dietetics. We provide a unique environment where dietitians can practice at the top of their profession and advance through a pathway designed entirely for RDs, culminating in executive leadership opportunities.
Success Looks Like
  • Delivering meaningful outcomes for patients through evidence-based nutrition care.
  • Maintaining a purposeful schedule that balances patient care, documentation, and professional growth.
  • Contributing to a supportive, high-performing team environment through collaboration and professionalism.
  • Refining clinical, counseling, and leadership skills to advance within Sensibly Sprouted's structured career pathways.

Objectives
  • Provide comprehensive Medical Nutrition Therapy across diverse patient populations.
  • Develop individualized care plans and use motivational interviewing to drive patient engagement.
  • Complete timely documentation of patient care and follow-up tasks in Healthie (EMR) to support patient outcomes and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and care team members to ensure continuity of patient support.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to strengthen skills and support career advancement.

Competencies
  • Advanced clinical judgment and independence in managing a variety of patient cases.
  • Strong communication and counseling skills to build relationships and support long-term engagement.
  • Proficiency in internal systems, including Healthie (EMR), Hive (task management), and Google Workspace.
  • Comfort working in a Mac-based environment, with strong general computer literacy.
  • Adaptability and professionalism in balancing patient care, administrative tasks, and professional development.
  • Demonstrated alignment with Sensibly Sprouted's mission, vision, and core values.

Credentials and Experience
  • Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required.
  • Licensed in WA.
  • Outpatient MNT experience preferred, but driven new grads are welcome.

Benefits
We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time team members, including:
  • Medical, dental, and vision for FT positions and their dependents
  • 401k with company match
  • 23 days of paid time off and holidays
  • Professional development reimbursement
  • Eligibility for performance bonuses

Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work.
Commitment to Excellence
As an equal opportunity employer, Sensibly Sprouted is committed to hiring and developing top talent. We consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, protected veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic. We focus on attracting individuals who demonstrate exceptional capability, alignment with our mission, and a strong drive to excel.
