You will be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team comprising social workers, psychologists, and medical professionals, facilitating comprehensive care tailored to individual patient needs. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), your expertise and compassion will be instrumental in providing essential psychotherapy services. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of patients and creating individualized treatment plans grounded in best practice methodologies.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) tailored to each client's unique circumstances and preferences.
• Documenting clinical records meticulously, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and professional standards.
• Engaging with a multidisciplinary treatment team to facilitate coordinated care, participating in case consultations that enhance quality outcomes for patients.
• Offering education and support to patients and families, guiding them through complex mental health topics, treatment pathways, and local community resources.
• Staying informed about the latest research and innovations in mental health, incorporating new findings into your clinical practice to enhance treatment efficacy.
• Managing a diverse caseload with an emphasis on meeting treatment goals and adhering to ethical practices as mandated by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

In this role, you will support a diverse patient population at various life stages, primarily focusing on individuals facing serious health diagnoses and their families. Your involvement will be critical in helping patients cope with the emotional and psychological challenges that often accompany their conditions, empowering them to navigate their healthcare journey with dignity and hope.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Missouri.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in mental health settings, emphasizing the provision of psychotherapy services.
• Proficient knowledge of solution-focused techniques and evidence-based psychotherapy interventions.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills necessary for the assessment and intervention process.
• Adept at functioning autonomously while also thriving in a cooperative team environment.

• Experience working in hospice or palliative care settings is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems to manage patient documentation effectively.
• Strong understanding of social work ethics and current trends in behavioral health.

The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
