• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, utilizing telehealth platforms to gather relevant information about clients’ backgrounds, challenges, and goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused strategies.
• Provide therapeutic support through individual, couples, and group therapy, fostering an environment conducive to healing and growth.
• Manage crisis situations effectively by offering immediate emotional support and intervention through virtual sessions.
• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring the integrity and privacy of client information.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care tailored to each client's needs.
• Attend team meetings, case reviews, and professional development sessions, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Focal Mind Psychotherapy, you will engage with a diverse client population facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your expertise will be essential in helping clients understand their experiences and develop effective coping strategies, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.

• An active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in Oregon or eligibility for reciprocity.
• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience providing mental health counseling, with a strong preference for candidates with prior telehealth experience.
• Proficiency in trauma-informed care practices, CBT, and solution-focused therapy methodologies.
• Exceptional technological proficiency, including comfort with telehealth platforms and remote communication tools.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and rapport-building skills, particularly in a virtual environment.

• Experience working with a varied clientele in a community health setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies.
• A proven track record of participating in collaborative treatment planning and execution.
