The opportunity
Southern New Hampshire University is looking for a Segment Marketing Communication Strategist to join our growing team of segment marketing professionals. The Segment Marketing Communications Strategist will support marketing communications strategy and execution to advance SNHU's mission, vision, and growth goals.
You will help develop and execute communication strategies that expand SNHU's reach and engagement across priority audience segments throughout the student journey, supporting the university's strategic plan and segment goals. You will work across segments and audiences, including Campus undergraduate, transfer, international and graduate, as well as military, community college, and other strategic populations. You will report to the Assistant VP, Segment Marketing. #LI - Remote
What you'll do:
  • Collaborate and help strategize the segment marketing communication workflow and team tasks focused on campus and other segment marketing solutions.
  • Manage, monitor, and facilitate the resolution of projects including (but not limited to) email, physical mail, and text communication updates, new and existing automated communication journeys, new and recurring ad-hoc communication launches using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Consistently challenge and seek to improve the customer experience through communication and engagement strategies.
  • Partner with multiple cross-functional team members to analyze communication efforts and recommend changes. Monitor, review and report on all marketing communication activity and results; including providing relevant data to field directors for meetings with their partners.
  • Established command of Admissions processes, and the ability to use that knowledge to convey information clearly with prospective students.
  • Experience aiming communications at KPI's like: completed applications, tour attendance, deposits, etc - as well as communicate general and international student requirements.
  • Collaborate and Support the Marketing Technology and Admissions teams in the promotion, creation and content management of marketing on-campus recruitment events
  • Collaborate and support of Martech to maintain and drive continued adoption within SNHU's marketing technology stack.
  • Help with the entry, maintenance, and coordination of segment event information within designated software platforms.
  • Collaborate and support of Martech to monitor the health and deliverability of SNHU's email sending IP addresses.
  • Collaborate with other campus and segment partners on overall strategic student communications.

What we're looking for:
  • 3+ years enrollment management experience (campus, global, military, or related) or 2+ years of experience managing email campaigns and communications designed to support enrollment goals
  • 2+ years of CRM experience (Preferably Salesforce)
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree acceptable
  • Experience understanding and anticipating dependencies across complex systems
  • Proficiency in communicating complex ideas and processes to business stakeholders

Compensation
The annual pay range for this position is $58,455.00 - $93,546.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $64,593.00 - $87,391.00.
